【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 증평군은 14일 군청 집무실에서 아동돌봄기관 방학 급식비 후원 기탁식을 열었다고 밝혔다.
이번 후원은 증평군기업인협회(회장 백선근)와 지역 기업 ㈜윤준에스티(대표 김태수)가 뜻을 모아 마련한 것으로, 총 700만 원의 후원금이 전달됐다.
방학 중 돌봄 사각지대에 놓이기 쉬운 아동들에게 안정적인 급식을 제공하기 위한 취지다.
후원금은 증평군기업인협회가 300만 원, ㈜윤준에스티가 400만 원을 각각 기탁했으며, 지역 내 아동돌봄기관 6개소에 배분돼 방학 중 급식비로 사용될 예정이다.
이 가운데 ㈜윤준에스티의 후원금은 증평군다함께돌봄센터 1, 2호점에 각 200만 원씩 지원되고, 증평군기업인협회의 후원금은 지역 내 행복돌봄나눔터 4개소에 전달된다.
이날 기탁식에는 증평군기업인협회 임원진과 ㈜윤준에스티 김태수 대표, 아동돌봄기관 관계자 등 10여 명이 참석해 후원 취지를 공유하고, 아동돌봄기관에서는 감사의 뜻을 전하는 시간을 가졌다.
백선근 회장은 “이번 후원금이 방학 중 돌봄기관을 이용하는 아이들에게 따뜻한 한 끼로 전해지길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 공동체 돌봄에 지속적인 관심을 갖고 참여하겠다”고 말했다.
