【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 지난 14일 증평읍사무소에서 ‘제3기 증평읍 주민자치회 출범식’을 가졌다고 밝혔다.
이번 출범식은 제3기 증평읍 주민자치회의 본격적인 활동 시작을 알리고 새롭게 위촉된 주민자치회 위원을 환영하기 위해 마련됐다.
제3기 증평읍 주민자치회는 기존위원 11명과 신규위원 19명 등 총 30명으로 구성됐다.
이날 열린 출범식에서는 위촉장 수여와 임원 선출 등이 이뤄졌다.
주민자치회장에는 김주현(63세) 위원이 선출됐다.
주민자치회 임기는 2년이며, 올해 자치사업으로 선정된 ‘증평읍 주민총회․보강천어울림축제’와 ‘주민과 함께하는 버스킹’을 추진할 예정이다.
이와 함께 주민수요를 반영한 다양한 주민자치센터 프로그램을 운영하며 그동안 축적한 경험과 성과를 바탕으로 보다 성숙한 주민자치 실현에 나선다는 방침이다.
