경기도 양주시립회암사지박물관, 유물 공개 구입... 역사문화 정체성 확립

[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시립회암사지박물관이 경기북부의 중심도시였던 옛 양주의 위상과 역사·문화 정체성을 확립하기 위해 유물 공개 구입을 추진한다고 밝혔다

 

유물 구입 대상은 양주의 역사·문화와 관련된 유물로, 선사시대부터 근현대에 이르는 모든 유물이 해당된다. 특히 회암사지 및 왕실과 불교문화 관련 유물을 우선적으로 구입할 예정이다. 

 

유물 구입기간은 1월 19일부터 2월 6일까지이며, 유물 매도 신청은 양주시청 또는 양주시립회암사지박물관 누리집에서 매도 신청서류를 내려받아 오는 2월 4일부터 2월 6일까지 박물관으로 등기우편을 보내거나 이메일로 신청하면 된다. 

 

유물 매도 신청은 개인 소장자나 문화유산매매업자, 법인 등 누구나 가능하며, 기타 자세한 사항은 박물관 누리집 공고문을 확인하거나 박물관팀(☎ 031-8082-4171)으로 문의하면 된다. 

 

한편 박물관 관계자는 “이번 유물 구입을 통해 경기북부 본가인 양주의 역사와 문화유산을 발굴하고 구입해 연구, 전시, 교육, 홍보 등에 활용할 계획이니, 유물 소장자들의 적극적인 참여와 관심을 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
