[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 경남도의회에서 도립 정신병원과 노인전문병원 운영 체계를 정비하는 조례 개정이 추진된다.
김구연 의원(국민의힘·하동)은 지난 16일 도립 의료기관 운영 과정에서 드러난 법적 공백을 보완하기 위해 관련 조례 전부개정안을 대표 발의했다고 밝혔다.
이번 개정안은 치매관리법과 정신건강복지법 등 상위 법령이 개정된 이후에도 조례가 이를 충분히 반영하지 못해 발생하던 혼선을 바로잡는 데 목적이 있다. 위탁 운영 방식과 관리 기준을 명확히 해 도립병원의 운영 안정성을 높이겠다는 취지다.
