[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시가 20일 시청 상황실에서 시장 주재로 자연재난(한파) 대비 상황판단회의를 열고, 경기도 전역에 발효된 한파특보에 따른 부서 및 읍․면․동별 대응 대책과 상황관리체계를 점검했다.
이번 회의는 올겨울 가장 길고 강한 한파가 이어질 것으로 전망됨에 따라, 한파로 인한 인명 피해와 시민 불편을 최소화하기 위한 선제적 대응 차원에서 마련됐다.
기상청 예보에 따르면 내륙 지역을 중심으로 기온이 영하 15도 안팎까지 떨어지고 강풍이 동반될 것으로 예상돼, 체감온도 저하에 따른 건강 피해와 수도 동파, 교통 불편 등 생활 전반의 피해 가능성에 대한 대응 방안이 집중 논의됐다.
양주시는 재난안전대책본부를 중심으로 통합 대응체계를 유지하며 ▲한파 취약계층 보호 ▲수도․에너지․통신 등 생활기반시설 관리 ▲농․축산 분야 및 공공․사유시설 점검 ▲교통 안전 관리와 시민 행동요령 홍보를 중점 추진하기로 했다.
