【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 2026년을 ‘스마트한 혁신, 콤팩트한 내일의 도시 증평’으로 도약하는 원년으로 선포하고 본격적인 군정 운영의 닻을 올렸다.
이재영 군수는 지난 20일 개회한 제216회 증평군의회 임시회 본회의에서 군정 연설을 통해 AI 대전환 시대에 발맞춘 미래 비전과 7대 중점 추진 방향을 제시했다.
이번 임시회는 1월 20일부터 28일까지 9일간의 일정으로 진행된다.
군은 올해 역대 최대 규모인 2914억 원의 예산을 바탕으로 △증평형 통합돌봄 강화 △공감 행정 구현 △산업생태계 구축 △미래 농업 육성 △체류형 문화관광 조성 △맞춤형 복지 실현 △안전한 스마트 도시 완성 등 7대 핵심 전략에 모든 행정력을 집중할 방침이다.
특히 행복돌봄센터를 중심으로 한 생애주기별 통합돌봄 시스템 정착과 서울대·한국교원대 협력을 통한 ‘에듀테크 밸리’ 조성에 박차를 가한다.
또한 AI 기반 인지케어 플랫폼과 에듀테크 체험관 등 첨단 기술을 군정 전반에 접목해 주민 삶의 질을 혁신적으로 높일 계획이다.
군정 비전의 구체적인 실현을 위한 부서별 주요업무보고도 21일부터 본격화된다.
21일 디지털홍보담당관과 기획예산과를 비롯한 기획·행정 부서를 시작으로, 22일 복지지원과와 행복돌봄과 등 복지·문화 분야, 23일 재무과와 민원소통과를 중심으로 한 경제·생활 분야, 26일 농업유통과와 재난안전과·건설교통과 등 농업·안전·건설 분야 순으로 보고가 진행된다.
마지막 날인 27일에는 도시건축과를 비롯해 보건소 등 직속기관·사업소 보고를 통해 2026년도 사업계획을 면밀히 점검할 예정이다.
