파주시 금촌1동이 지역 어르신들을 위한 찾아가는 복지 서비스로 따뜻한 나눔을 실천했다.
금촌1동은 지난 20일 5통 경로당(신안실크밸리 1차)에서 '찾아가는 금촌사랑 깎아헤어' 미용 봉사 행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 거동이 불편하거나 경제적 어려움으로 미용실 이용이 어려운 어르신들의 위생 관리와 정서적 안정을 돕기 위해 마련됐다.

재능봉사자 유지연, 송현아 씨를 비롯한 금촌사랑협의체 위원들이 직접 참여해 이·미용 서비스를 제공했다.
봉사자들은 머리를 손질해드리는 것은 물론, 어르신들과 담소를 나누며 안부를 살피고 생활 속 불편 사항을 경청하는 등 정서적 교류의 시간도 가졌다.
서비스를 받은 한 어르신은 "머리도 깔끔해지고 마음까지 환해진 것 같다"며 감사의 인사를 전했다.
김회수 5통 경로당 회장은 "경제적·신체적 여건으로 미용 서비스를 받기 어려운 어르신들과 취약계층을 위해 직접 찾아와 봉사해 주셔서 진심으로 감사드린다"며 "이러한 나눔 활동이 어르신들의 자존감을 높이고 일상에 활력을 주는 계기가 됐다"고 말했다.
