Yangju Women's New Job Center Recruiting Participants for '2026 Group Counseling Program'
Participants in the program will be recognized as non-job seeking activities (reemployment activities) for unemployment benefit recipients and as job seeking activities under the National Employment Support System.
[Break News Yangju=Kim Wan-young] The Yangju Women's New Job Center in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, is recruiting participants for its '2026 Group Counseling Program' for women seeking employment.
This program aims to help women regain their employment confidence and achieve successful reemployment by providing professional career counseling, job search skills, and job information.
The group counseling program will begin with the first session, which will run from February 4th to 6th, and will run for a total of 16 sessions. The program will provide tailored support by age group, taking into account the causes of career interruptions and individual circumstances, helping participants strengthen their practical employment capabilities.
This program is divided into a basic course (5 days, total 20 hours) for job seekers who haven't yet decided on a career path, and an advanced course (3 days, total 12 hours) for job seekers who have already decided on a career path.
The program includes: 1) boosting job search confidence through self-understanding, including personality type tests; 2) career planning through job readiness tests and career information; and 3) successful job search strategies, including resume and self-introduction writing and interview clinics. A Yangju City official said, "The completion rate for participants in the group counseling program in 2025 reached 99%, and satisfaction with the training was also very high." He added, "This year, we have prepared an even more substantial program to boost job-seeking women's confidence in employment, so we hope many of you will participate."
