의정부시 송산2동주민센터는 지난 21일 송산노인종합복지관에서 주민 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026년 주요업무보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 보고회는 ‘오늘이 행복하고, 내일이 더 기대되는 송산2동’을 주제로 주민 생활과 밀접한 정책들을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 행사에 참석한 김동근 시장은 주민들이 입장하며 작성한 ‘새해 소망’ 카드를 직접 뽑아 읽고 덕담을 전하며 격식 없는 소통 행보를 보였다. 주민들의 바람 하나하나에 화답하는 모습은 새해를 시작하는 행사장 분위기를 더욱 따뜻하게 만들었다.
이어 진행된 미래가치 공유 시간에는 공원 및 쉼터 확충을 통한 생활환경 개선, 광역버스 신설 및 증차, 학생통학버스 도입 등 송산2동의 교통 인프라 확충 성과가 소개되어 주민들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

또한 2026년 신규 사업으로 추진되는 업사이클링 페스티벌, 어르신 튼튼해크루 프로그램, 복지위기가구 발굴 사업 등 주민의 삶의 질을 높일 다양한 정책들이 공개됐다.
김동근 의정부시장은 주민들과의 대화 시간을 통해 교통, 체육, 환경 등 생활 속 불편 사항을 직접 경청하고 해결 방안을 함께 모색했다. 김 시장은 주민들의 소중한 의견을 시정에 적극 반영해 변화를 체감할 수 있는 현장 중심의 행정을 지속해 나가겠다고 강조했다.
