【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 올해 총 5억 7천만 원의 예산을 투입해 ‘2026년 농촌 빈집정비사업’을 추진한다고 22일 밝혔다.
해당 사업은 장기간 방치된 빈집의 정비를 통해 각종 범죄, 붕괴, 환경오염, 화재 발생 등 안전사고를 예방하고 주거환경을 개선하고자 추진된다.
이번 사업은 △빈집 철거 후 주차장, 텃밭, 공원 등으로 공공 활용하는 ‘빈집정비(철거) 사업’ △빈집을 보수해 임대주택 등으로 활용하는 ‘진천형 해비타트 사업’ 등 2개로 나눠 진행된다.
먼저, 빈집정비(철거) 사업은 군이 직접 철거공사를 시행하는 방식으로 추진되며, 단순 철거에 그치지 않고 철거 후 발생하는 나대지를 최소 1년 이상 주차장, 텃밭, 지역 주민의 커뮤니티 공간 등 공공용도로 활용해야 한다.
1동당 최대 1천600만 원의 예산이 지원되며, 약 30개소를 선정할 예정이다.
신청 지역은 현장 조사를 통해 건축물의 안전성, 위생성, 경관성, 공공 활용성 등을 파악한 후 대상자를 최종 선정할 계획이다.
진천형 해비타트 사업은 방치된 농촌 빈집을 보수해 주거지가 필요한 취약 계층에게 지원하는 사업으로 군에서 2024년부터 추진하고 있는 사업이다.
특히, 올해는 빈집의 활용 범위를 주거형에 국한하지 않고 사업유형을 지역 특색에 맞는 활용(공동체형, 생활 편의형)까지 확대해 빈집 활용 사례를 다양화할 계획이다.
1개소당 최대 3천만 원까지 지원되며, 건축물의 안전성, 위생성, 입지성, 경관성 등을 고려해 3개소를 선정할 예정이다.
신청 접수처는 해당 건축물 소재 읍·면 사무소 개발팀, 산업개발팀이며, 접수 기간은 오는 2월 13일까지다.
