【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=(재)생거진천문화재단은 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 (재)예술경영지원센터가 주관하는 2026 공연예술 지역유통 지원사업에 최종 선정돼 국비 1억 5천여만 원을 확보했다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 서울 등 수도권에 집중된 공연예술시장의 불균형을 해소하고, 지역 주민들에게 다양한 장르의 순수예술 공연을 즐길 기회를 제공하기 위해 추진되고 있다.
재단은 이번 선정을 통해 음악, 전통, 연극, 무용 등 4개 분야의 다양한 작품을 지역 주민에 선보일 계획이다.
선정된 작품은 △음악 ‘위대한 청춘’(리음아트&컴퍼니) △음악 ‘왕들의 귀환, 대가들의 수다’(원뮤직컴퍼니) △전통 ‘모던민요’(모스트컬쳐) △연극 ‘늘근도둑이야기’(나인스토리) △무용 ‘춤추는 카르멘’(카이로스댄스컴퍼니) 등 총 5개다.
재단은 이번 성과를 위해 작년 하반기부터 공연단체와의 협력을 강화하고, 지역 특성에 맞는 우수작품을 선별·매칭하기 위해 체계적인 기획 작업을 진행해 왔다.
이러한 사전 준비가 높은 평가를 받아 이번 공모사업 선정으로 이어질 수 있었다.
아울러 생거진천문화재단은 최근 국립국악원의 ‘국악을 국민 속으로’ 공모사업과 국립극장의 ‘찾아가는 국립극장’ 공모사업에도 잇따라 대상지로 선정돼 국립예술단체의 우수 레퍼토리 작품을 지역에 유치하는 성과를 거뒀다.
김태윤 생거진천문화재단 관계자는 “이번 공모사업 선정을 계기로 진천군민들에게 수준 높은 공연예술을 지속적으로 제공할 수 있게 돼 매우 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 국비 지원사업과 국·공립 예술단체 협업을 확대해 지역문화의 품격을 높이겠다”고 말했다.
