증평군, 충북보건과학대학 사회복지학과 이웃돕기 성금 기탁

【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 충북보건과학대학 사회복지학과(학생회장 이근영)가 26일 군청에 방문해 이웃돕기 성금 113만원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이번 성금은 사회복지학과 학생들이 겨울철 어려움을 겪는 이웃을 돕기 위해 자발적으로 뜻을 모아 마련한 것으로, 학생들이 십시일반 모은 기부금이다.

이근영 학생회장은 “전공을 통해 나눔과 돌봄의 가치를 배우는 만큼, 배운 것을 실천으로 옮기고자 학생들이 마음을 모았다”며 “크지 않은 금액이지만 추운 겨울을 보내는 이웃들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

기탁된 성금은 기부자의 뜻에 따라 충북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 지역 내 취약계층 지원에 사용될 예정이다.
