강정선 수석부회장은 28일 “현장을 깊이 이해하는 리더십으로 대구예술의 대전환을 이루겠다”며 출마 의사를 밝혔다.
강 수석부회장은 12년 동안 대구무용협회장을 역임했으며, 이후 예총 부회장과 수석부회장으로 약 30년간 지역 예술 현장을 지켜왔다. 지역 예술계에서는 대표적인 오랜 현장 경험자로 평가받고 있다.

강 수석부회장은 “예술의 해답은 현장에 있다”며 “예술인이 변화를 직접 체감할 때 진정한 전환이 이뤄질 것”이라고 말했다. 이어 “대구예총이 모든 예술인에게 신뢰받는 조직이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 각오를 밝혔다.
한편, 제13대 회장 선거는 2월 26일 오후 2시 대구문화예술회관 달구벌홀에서 열린다. 9개 회원단체별로 10명씩 총 90명의 대의원이 참여하며, 과반 득표자가 당선된다. 임기는 4년이다.

Meanwhile, the 13th presidential election will be held at 2:00 PM on February 26th at the Dalgubeol Hall of the Daegu Culture and Arts Center. A total of 90 delegates, ten from each of the nine member organizations, will participate, and the candidate receiving a majority of votes will be elected. The term of office is four years.
