【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청이 오는 23일부터 27일까지 ‘2026년 1단계 공공근로사업’ 참여자를 모집한다고 9일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 취업 취약계층과 청년, 장기 실직자 등에게 공공일자리를 제공하고, 지역경제 활성화를 위한 취지로 마련됐다.
공공근로사업은 정보화 추진, 환경정화 등 4개 공공분야에서 실시된다. 선발인원은 50여 명으로, 선발된 인원은 4월 1일부터 6월 19일까지 약 3개월간 북구 내 18개 사업장에서 근무하게 된다.
신청 대상자는 사업 시작일 기준 만 18세 이상 근로 능력이 있는 북구 주민 중에서 가구 소득이 기준중위소득 70% 이하, 재산 4억 원 이하이어야 한다.
다만 국민기초생활보장법상 생계·의료급여 수급자, 공무원의 배우자·자녀, 사업자 등록자, 실업급여 수급자, 대학 및 대학원 재학생 등은 제외된다.
신청은 신분증을 지참해 주소지 동 행정복지센터를 방문, 신청서와 관련 서류를 제출하면 된다. 선발 결과는 3월 말 최종 선발자에 한해 문자 메시지로 개별 통보된다.
배광식 북구청장은 “공공근로사업이 취업 취약계층의 생활 안정에 도움이 되고, 실무 경험을 쌓아 재취업 역량을 키울 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 지역 특성에 맞는 다양한 일자리를 개발해 주민 삶의 질을 높이고, 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣겠다”고 말했다.
