전주대학교 제17대 류두현 신임(임기 4년) 총장이 11일 대학교회에서 취임 감사 예배를 갖고 인성과 실력을 겸비한 미래 인재 양성을 위한 행보에 돌입했다.
이날 취임 예배는 1부 감사 예배와 2부 취임식으로 나눠 진행됐으며 학교법인 신동아학원 차종순 이사장ㆍ이호인 전 총장ㆍ정준영 총학생회장ㆍ교직원ㆍ재학생 및 지역 교계 인사 등이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 열렸다.
설교에 나선 전주대발전 목회자협의회장인 서화평 목사는 "신앙의 본질을 바탕으로 다음 세대를 이끌어갈 리더십"의 중요성을 강조했다.
차종순 이사장은 류두현 신임 총장에게 임용장을 수여한 뒤 "대학 발전을 위한 헌신과 리더십"을 당부하는 것으로 취임을 축하했다.
