김연수 전 대전 중구의회 의장이 오는 6월 실시하는 제9회 전국동시지방선거에서 대전 중구청장 출마를 공식 선언하며 본격적인 선거전에 뛰어들었다.
19일 오전 대전시의회 1층 로비에서 중구청장 출마 기자회견을 가진 김 전 의장은 "중구는 행정을 연습하거나 실험하는 장소가 아니다"라고 직격하며, 8년간의 의정활동을 통해 검증된 '현장 전문가'로서의 강점을 전면에 내세웠다.
