양산시, 여성친화도시 재지정 위해 ‘본격 시동’

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시가 2026년 여성친화도시 재지정을 위한 협력 체계를 공고히 하기 위해 본격 시동을 걸었다.

시는 24일 여성거점공간 ‘이어-ZOOM’에서 여성친화도시 시민참여단 34명을 대상으로 역량강화 교육 및 상반기 정기회의를 개최했다.

양산시 여성친화도시 시민참여단은 2012년 4월 최초 구성된 이후 현재 6기로 운영되고 있으며, 여성친화도시 사업 및 정책에 대한 상시 모니터링과 주민 의견 수렴 등 시정과 시민을 잇는 가교 역할을 수행하고 있다.

시는 이번 회의를 시작으로 생활 속 불편사항 모니터링과 다양한 정책 제안 활동을 본격화할 방침이다.

역량강화 교육은 성인지 감수성 향상 교육과 더불어 시민참여단의 우수 활동 사례를 공유하는 시간을 가졌다. 

특히 참여단원들이 직접 2026년 연간 활동 및 모니터링 계획을 수립하는 실습 워크숍을 통해 실질적인 시정 참여 의지를 다졌다. 

이성미 여성청소년과장은 “올해는 여성친화도시 재지정을 준비하는 매우 중요한 해인 만큼 시민참여단의 능동적인 활동이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “참여단의 소중한 의견을 시정에 적극 반영하여 모두가 행복한 양산을 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.

Yangsan City Launches Capacity Building Training for Citizen Participation Group

Yangsan City has launched a full-scale effort to solidify its cooperative system for its 2026 Women-Friendly City redesignation.

On the 24th, the city held capacity building training and a first-half regular meeting for 34 members of the Women-Friendly City Citizen Participation Group at the women's hub "Ear-ZOOM."

The Yangsan Women-Friendly City Citizen Participation Group, first established in April 2012 and currently in its sixth term, serves as a bridge between city administration and citizens, monitoring women-friendly city projects and policies and gathering public feedback.

Starting with this meeting, the city plans to fully launch its monitoring of everyday inconveniences and various policy proposal activities.

The capacity building training included gender sensitivity training and sharing best practices from the Citizen Participation Group.

In particular, the citizen participation group members strengthened their commitment to practical participation in city administration through a hands-on workshop where they personally developed their 2026 annual activity and monitoring plan.
