브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 매주 금요일 근무시간을 1시간 단축하는 ‘금요일 1시간 조기 퇴근제’를 도입한다고 25일 밝혔다.
‘금요일 1시간 조기 퇴근제’는 정부의 실노동시간 단축에 발맞춰 직원들의 일과 삶의 균형을 높이고, 업무 생산성을 제고하기 위해 마련됐다. 특히, 육아와 돌봄 등 가정생활과 업무를 병행하는 직원들의 부담을 완화하고, 보다 유연하고 효율적인 조직문화 정착에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
해당 제도는 오는 27일 자율 시행을 거쳐 3월 6일부터 정식 시행될 예정이다.
은행 영업시간은 기존과 동일하게 오전 9시부터 오후 4시까지 유지된다. 이에 따라 고객의 은행 창구 이용에는 변동 사항이 없으며, 금융서비스 제공에도 차질이 없도록 운영할 방침이다.
또한, 여섯시은행(9To6 Bank)과 인천국제공항지점 등 영업시간이 별도로 정해진 영업점과 특화점포 역시 기존 영업시간을 유지한다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “이번 금요일 1시간 조기 퇴근제는 일과 삶이 조화를 이루는 근무 환경을 조성하기 위한 제도적 노력의 일환”이라며 “앞으로도 근무 환경 개선과 함께 고객에게 더 나은 금융 서비스 제공할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
