전북경찰청은 올해로 제107주년을 맞는 3.1절 폭주ㆍ난폭운전을 근절하기 위해 이륜차 일제 단속 및 야간 폭주족 집중 단속에 나선다고 26일 밝혔다.
특히 준법의식 제고와 폭주 활동 의지를 사전에 차단하기 위해 국경일 주간 시간대 도내 각 지역에서 ▲ 안전모 미착용 ▲ 음주 운전 ▲ 불법 개조 등 이륜차 일제 단속을 펼쳐 폭주 활동 의지를 사전 차단한다.
야간에는 교통ㆍ형사ㆍ지역 경찰 등으로 구성된 폭주족 합동 대응팀을 도내 주요 지점에 선점 배치하고 교통 싸이카와 암행순찰차 등을 단속에 투입할 계획이다.
