이재명 대통령이 1일(현지시간) “집을 사고 파는 건 개인 자유이나 그게 이익이 되게 할지 손해가 되게 할지는 정부가 정한다”고 밝혔다.
동남아 2개국 순방에 나선 이 대통령은 이날 오후 첫 방문국 싱가포르에 도착 후 엑스(X·구 트위터)에 “지금까지와는 달리 앞으로는 과거 같은 선택이 손실 되도록 세금·금융·규제를 철저히 설계할 것”이라며 이같이 적었다.
그러면서 "그 어떤 부당한 저항·비방에도 불구 흔들림 없이 시행할 것이기 때문에 새로운 합리적 선택 기회를 주려는 것”이라며 "싱가포르는 좁은 국토에 국민소득이 1인당 10만불 가까운 나라지만 국민이 부동산 투기로 고통받거나 국가발전이 저해되지 않는다”고 했다.
또 "정부 의지만 있으면 얼마든지 가능하다는 것을 보여준다”며 "자본주의 사회에서 돈 되니 집도 사 모으는 거지 돈 안 되면 집 사 모으라 고사 지내고 빌어도 살 리 없다”고 했다.
