고양특례시가 제2자유로와 행주로를 잇는 '행주나루IC'의 모든 구간을 오는 6일 오후 2시부터 전면 개통한다고 밝혔다.
고양시는 지난 4일 이동환 고양특례시장을 비롯해 시의장, 당협위원장, 도·시의원 및 지역 주민들이 참석한 가운데 현장 개통식을 열고 서울과 행주산성 양방향 연결의 완성을 공식 선포했다.

행주나루IC는 고양시 행주로와 주요 간선도로인 제2자유로를 직접 연결하는 나들목이다.
1단계 개통: 2025년 1월 2일, 서울 방면 진입로(640m) 우선 개통
전 구간 개통: 2026년 3월 6일, 행주산성 방면 진출로(654m) 연결 완료
이번 전 구간 개통으로 인해 그동안 행주동·행신동 등 고양시 남부권 주민들이 겪었던 교통 불편이 크게 해소될 전망이다.
특히 기존 자유로와 강변북로에 집중됐던 교통량이 분산되면서 수도권 서북부의 전반적인 교통 흐름이 개선될 것으로 시는 분석하고 있다.
