이 대통령은 이날 오전 엑스(X·구 트위터)에 "일부 기업들이 범법행위로 큰돈을 벌며 국민들에 고통을 가하고도 정부 관리·정치권과 유착해 무마하던 야만의 시대가 이제 끝났다는 사실을 아직 잘 모르는 것 같다"며 이같이 적었다.
그러면서 "불법을 자행하며 국민경제 질서를 어지럽히는 악덕 기업들에 콩 심은 데 콩 나고 팥 심은 데 팥 난다는 평범한 사실을 깨우치게 하겠다"며 사실상 정유업계를 직겨냥했다.
또 "합법 수단을 총동원해 경제영역에서도 비정상의 정상화를 반드시 이뤄낼 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
