[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시농업기술센터는 오는 4월 9일부터 12일까지 강서구 대저생태공원 유채꽃 경관단지에서 제22회 부산도시농업박람회를 개최한다.
2005년 전국 최초로 시작된 부산도시농업박람회는 올해로 22회째를 맞았다. 도심 속에서 농업의 공익적 가치를 알리고 도시농업 문화를 확산해 온 대표적인 행사로, 도시와 농촌의 상생 발전과 탄소중립 실현에도 기여해왔다.
올해 박람회는 ‘힐링부산, 도시에서 만나는 치유농업’을 주제로 열린다. 행사 기간 치유농업, 도시농업, 반려농업, 부산농업 등 다양한 전시와 체험, 학술행사, 경진대회가 진행된다. 참가자들은 감정정원 치유텃밭, 무장애 텃밭 체험, 스트레스·우울지수 측정, 요가 명상 프로그램 등을 통해 자연이 주는 치유의 시간을 체험할 수 있다.
스마트팜 제어 시스템과 수직농장 전시, 드론 영농 시연, 트랙터 안전 시뮬레이션 등 미래농업 기술을 경험할 수 있는 프로그램도 마련된다. 또한 한국도시농업연구회 춘계 심포지엄, 초등학생 도시농업 사생대회, 생활원예 경진대회, 생생화환 디자인 경진대회 등 시민 참여형 행사도 다채롭게 진행된다.
이 밖에 부산을 대표하는 대저 짭짤이토마토, 황금예찬 쌀, 백강 국화 전시와 판매, 기장 파머스마켓과 전통 손 모내기 체험 등 지역 농경문화 체험 프로그램도 운영된다.
박람회 참가 신청은 오는 3월 10일부터 부산도시농업박람회 공식 누리집(dosinongup-busan.co.kr)에서 할 수 있다. 자세한 사항은 부산시농업기술센터 시민농업팀(051-970-3741)으로 문의하면 된다.
유미복 부산시농업기술센터 소장은 “이번 박람회는 도시 속에서 농업의 가치를 체험하고 치유농업의 가능성을 확인할 수 있는 시민 참여형 축제”라며 “유채꽃이 만개한 봄날, 많은 시민의 관심과 참여를 기대한다”고 말했다.

First launched in 2005 as the nation’s first event of its kind, the Busan Urban Agriculture Expo marks its 22nd year this spring. The event has played a leading role in promoting the public value of agriculture, fostering urban farming culture, and contributing to sustainable urban-rural cooperation and carbon neutrality.
This year’s expo will be held under the theme Healing Busan, Therapeutic Agriculture in the City. The program will feature exhibitions, hands-on experiences, academic forums, and competitions highlighting therapeutic, urban, companion, and local agriculture. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as healing gardens, accessible urban farms, stress and depression assessments, and yoga and meditation sessions surrounded by blooming canola fields.
The event will also showcase the latest smart farming technologies, including smart farm control systems, vertical farming exhibits, drone cultivation demonstrations, and tractor safety simulations. Public programs such as the Spring Symposium of the Korean Society for Urban Agriculture, an urban farming drawing contest for elementary students, and horticulture and floral design competitions will also take place.
In addition, the expo will feature exhibitions and sales of local agricultural products including Daejeo Salty Tomatoes, Hwanggeumyechan Rice, and Baekgang Chrysanthemums, as well as a Gijang Farmers Market and a traditional rice planting experience, offering visitors a glimpse into Busan’s agricultural heritage.

Yoo Mi-bok, Director of the Busan Agricultural Technology Center, said the expo provides an opportunity for citizens to experience the value of agriculture in the city and to explore the potential of therapeutic farming, adding that she hopes many visitors will come to enjoy the canola blossoms and the healing spirit of spring.
