파주시산림조합은 본격적인 봄철 나무 식재 시즌을 맞아 시민들에게 우수한 수목류를 안정적으로 공급하기 위해 2026년 봄철 나무전시판매장을 개장하고 오는 3월 21일부터 5월 5일까지 휴일 없이 집중 운영에 들어간다고 밝혔다.

이번 나무전시판매장은 해마다 증가하는 시민들의 나무 식재 수요에 발맞춰 체계적이고 쾌적한 환경으로 정비됐다.
조경수, 유실수, 초화류, 관엽식물류, 잔디 등 다양한 식물류를 한자리에서 비교하고 구매할 수 있도록 품목을 확대했으며 가정용 정원수부터 학교와 기관 등 공공시설 식재용 수목까지 폭넓게 준비해 소비자 선택의 폭을 넓혔다.
특히 방문객 중심의 동선 재정비가 눈에 띈다.
품목별 전시 구역을 세분화하고 안내 표지판을 일원화해 초보자도 쉽게 원하는 수종을 찾을 수 있도록 개선했으며 현장에는 전문 지식을 갖춘 산림경영지도원이 상주하며 수종 선택 상담은 물론 토양 준비, 식재 시기, 전정 및 병해충 관리 요령 등 사후 관리 방법까지 안내하고 이를 통해 단순 판매를 넘어 올바른 식재 문화 정착에도 기여한다는 방침이다.
