파주시가 고용노동부 주관 '2025년 사회적가치지표(SVI) 측정 평가'에서 경기도 내 시군 중 가장 많은 '탁월' 등급 사회적기업을 배출하며 사회적 경제 도시로서의 입지를 확고히 했다.
사회적가치지표(SVI)는 사회적기업이 창출하는 지역사회 기여도, 고용 창출, 조직 운영, 재정 성과, 혁신성 등 14개 지표를 종합적으로 측정하는 객관적 척도로, 측정 결과에 따라 탁월·우수·양호·미흡·취약 등 5단계 등급으로 분류된다.

이번 평가에서 파주시는 탁월 등급 3개, 우수 등급 7개, 양호 등급 7개 기업을 배출했다.
특히 평가에 참여한 17개 기업 전원이 양호 이상의 등급을 획득했으며, 그중 10개 기업은 우수 이상의 등급을 받았다.
탁월 등급 기업 수와 우수 이상 등급 비율 모두 경기도 내 시군 최고 수준으로, 파주 사회적기업들의 질적 성장을 입증한 결과라는 평가다.
이 같은 성과는 파주시가 추진해온 체계적인 지원 정책이 뒷받침된 결과로 분석된다.
시는 지역 특색에 맞는 파주형 예비사회적기업 발굴·육성을 비롯해 안정적인 경영 환경 조성을 위한 재정 지원과 전문 역량 강화 교육, 실질적인 매출 증대와 시장 경쟁력 확보를 위한 판로 확대 사업 등 맞춤형 지원에 집중해 왔다.
