파주문화재단은 관내 전문공연예술인의 안정적인 활동 기반을 마련하고 시민의 일상 속 공연예술 향유 기회를 확대하기 위해 ‘2026 파주 공연예술 지원사업’ 공모를 오는 3월 3일부터 3월 27일까지 재단 홈페이지를 통해 진행한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 그동안 개별적으로 운영되던 공연 관련 지원사업을 하나의 통합 체계로 재편해 추진하는 것이 핵심이다.
재단은 이를 통해 지역 공연예술인의 지원 접근성을 높이고, 보다 체계적인 창작 환경을 조성해 안정적인 공연 활동 기반을 구축한다는 방침이며 통합 지원체계의 명칭은 ‘파주 아트씨앗터’이다.
‘씨앗’과 ‘터’를 결합한 개념으로 공연예술의 가능성을 발아시키는 기반이자 시민과 만나는 활동 공간을 의미하며, ‘씨어터(theater)’를 연상시키는 발음을 통해 공연예술 플랫폼으로서의 정체성을 담았다.
사업은 공연 환경에 따라 공연장 공연을 지원하는 ‘씨앗틔움’과 거리공연을 지원하는 ‘터전피움’ 두 가지 유형으로 나뉘며, 각 유형별 10팀 내외 총 20팀 내외를 선정할 예정이며 선정 단체에는 유형별 맞춤형 지원이 이뤄진다.

‘터전피움’은 회당 50만 원에서 100만 원의 공연비와 공연 장소, 시스템 장비를 지원하며, 재단 연간 활동 예술인 인증 체계와 연계해 공식 활동 기반을 마련한다.
