고양특례시 일산동구 중산1동은 지난 10일 통장들을 대상으로 긴급복지지원 신고의무자 교육을 실시하며 위기가구 조기 발굴을 위한 지역 내 인적 안전망을 강화했다.

이번 교육은 긴급복지지원법에 따른 법정의무교육으로 지역 사정을 가장 잘 아는 통장들이 복지 사각지대에 놓인 위기가구를 신속히 발견하고 지원 및 복지서비스에 연계하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육 과정에서는 통장들이 긴급복지 신고의무자로서 역할을 충실히 수행할 수 있도록 긴급복지지원 제도와 위기가구 판단 기준, 긴급지원대상자 발견 시 신고 절차 및 방법, 신고의무자의 역할과 책임 등을 담은 영상을 시청했으며 또한 실제 사례를 공유해 통장들의 이해를 높이는 시간을 가졌다.
박현우 중산1동 통장협의회장은 도움이 필요한 이웃을 세심히 살피는 것이 통장들의 중요한 역할이라며 이번 교육을 계기로 위기가구를 적극적으로 발굴하고 필요한 자원을 신속하게 지원받을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다고 말했다.
