파주시 운정다누림장애인복지관은 3월부터 관내 발달장애 청소년 10가정을 대상으로 보호자와 함께하는 한마음 체육교실 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 지난 7일 첫 회를 진행했다.

한마음 체육교실은 발달장애 청소년의 건강한 신체 발달을 지원하고 보호자와 자녀가 함께하는 체육활동을 통해 가족 간 유대감을 높이기 위해 마련된 프로그램이다.
특히 가족이 함께 참여하는 활동 중심 프로그램으로 구성해 신체활동 증진은 물론 가족 간 정서적 교류와 소통 확대에 중점을 두고 운영되고 있다.
첫 회기에서는 짐볼을 활용한 가족 체육활동이 진행됐으며, 참여 가정은 협동 중심의 신체활동을 통해 자연스럽게 소통하고 함께 웃는 시간을 가졌으며 프로그램은 매주 토요일 총 4회에 걸쳐 운영되며 2회 유니바 활동, 3회 다양한 공을 활용한 활동, 4회 다양한 교구를 활용한 맞춤형 체육활동이 이어질 예정이다.
운정다누림장애인복지관 남희경 관장은 이번 프로그램이 발달장애 청소년의 신체 기능 향상뿐 아니라 가족 간 긍정적인 상호작용을 높이는 의미 있는 시간이 되길 기대한다며 앞으로도 가족이 함께 참여하고 성장할 수 있는 다양한 지원 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다고 밝혔다.
