청와대가 14일 북한이 동해상으로 탄도미사일 10여발 을 발사한 것 관련해 긴급 안보상황 점검회의를 개최했다.
국가안보실은 이날 오후 "국방부·합참 등 관계기관이 참석한 회의에서 북의 이번 탄도미사일 발사가 안보에 미치는 영향을 살피고 필요 조치 사항을 점검했다"며 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 "북의 탄도미사일 발사는 유엔 안전보장 이사회 결의들을 위반하는 도발 행위로 즉각 중단할 것을 촉구했다"며 "현재 한·미연합연습 기간(9∼19일)인 점에서 관계기관에 대비 태세 유지에 더욱 만전을 기하라고 지시했다"고 전했다.
또 "이재명 대통령에게 북 탄도미사일 발사 상황·관련 조치에 대해 보고했다"고 덧붙였다.
앞서 합참은 "오늘 오후 1시 20분께 북 순안 일대에서 동해상으로 발사된 미상 탄도미사일 10여발을 포착했다"며 "미사일은 약 350km를 비행했고, 정확한 제원은 한·미가 정밀분석 중에 있다"고 밝혔다.
북의 탄도미사일 발사는 앞서 지난 1월 27일 동해상으로 발사한 이래 47일 만으로 올 들어 3번째인 가운데 한 번에 10여 발이 동시 발사된 건 이례적이다.
