[브레이크뉴스=배종태기자] 국민의힘은 이재명 대통령과 민주당이 강행 처리한 ‘사법 장악 3법’(법왜곡죄·재판소원·대법관 증원)이 시행 직후부터 "동시다발적 재앙"을 불러일으키며 대한민국을 "범죄 도시이자 범죄자 천국"으로 만들었다고 강력 비판했다.
박성훈 수석대변인은 14일 논평에서 조희대 대법원장이 법왜곡죄 1호 피고발인이 된 사태와 재판소원법 시행 이틀 만에 성추행범 등 강력범죄자 36명이 4심을 신청한 실태를 들어 "누가 이득을 보고 웃고 있는지 명백하다"고 직격했다.
"대법원장 1호 피고발인… 민주당, 사법 압박 무기화"
박 수석대변인은 "조희대 대법원장이 법왜곡죄 1호 피고발인이 됐다"며 민주당 정청래 대표가 '사법 불신 원흉'이라며 "즉각 사퇴하라"고 압박한 결과 현직 대법원장이 수사 대상으로 전락했다고 꼬집었다.
전국 법원장 간담회에서는 "어떤 판결을 내려도 고발당할 수 있다"는 판사들의 공포가 제기됐으며, 형사 재판부에 대한 고소·고발 부담으로 형사 재판 기피 현상이 나타날 수 있다는 우려가 쏟아졌다.
"4심제 폭주… 성추행범 등 36건 2일 만에 쇄도"
'사실상 4심제'인 재판소원법은 시행 이틀 만에 헌법재판소에 36건(13일 오후 6시 기준)이 접수됐다. 형이 확정된 성추행범과 강력범죄자들이 줄줄이 "끝까지 가보겠다"며 재판소원을 남발하는 사태다.
박 수석대변인은 "재판 받을 권리는 헌법이 보장하지만, 민주당이 만든 4심제가 범죄자들의 처벌 지연 수단이 됐다"며 "피해자는 고통받고 범죄 억지력은 약화되는 '범죄자 천국'이 현실"이라고 분노했다.

"몇 심이든 가보자"는 범죄자들의 뻔뻔함 앞에 국민들이 "범죄 도시" 현실을 목도하고 있다고 박 수석대변인은 지적했다. 처벌은 지연되고 재판은 끝없이 이어지며, 피해자만 고통받고 범죄 억지력은 무너질 수밖에 없다고 경고했다.
각계의 위헌 우려에도 이재명 대통령과 민주당이 밀어붙인 결과 "법은 권력을 위해 아니라 국민을 지키기 위해 존재한다"는 기본 원칙이 뒤집히고 "범죄자에게 관대한 나라"가 만들어졌다고 비판했다.

The People Power Party (PPP) launched a ferocious attack on President Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party, accusing their rushed "Judicial Takeover Trio" — law distortion crime, retrial petition, and Supreme Court justice expansion acts — of unleashing "simultaneous disasters" that have turned South Korea into a "crime city and criminals' paradise" just days after enforcement.
Senior PPP spokesman Park Sung-hoon, in a March 14 statement, cited Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae as the first defendant under the law distortion crime and a flood of 36 retrial petitions from sex offenders and hardened criminals within two days, declaring "who benefits and laughs last is now blatantly clear."

Park spotlighted Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae becoming "the first defendant" under the law distortion crime after Democratic leader Jeong Cheong-rae branded him "the root of judicial distrust" and demanded his "immediate resignation," thrusting the sitting top judge into investigation.
Judges nationwide now fear "prosecution no matter what ruling they issue," with national court chiefs' meetings raising alarms over surging complaints against criminal benches potentially sparking widespread avoidance of criminal trials.

The retrial petition law — effectively a "fourth trial" — saw 36 cases hit the Constitutional Court by 6 p.m. March 13, just two days in, with convicted sex offenders and heavy-sentence criminals lining up to demand "one more round."
While trial, appeal, and final appeal rights are constitutionally sacred, Park roared that Democrats' "4th trial system" has morphed into "a delay tactic for criminals," breeding a "let's go all the way" bravado that torments victims and erodes deterrence.

With criminals stalling via "however many trials it takes," citizens witness a "crime city" reality, Park warned — punishments delayed indefinitely, trials endless, victims in agony, and crime repression inevitably weakened.
Despite universal constitutional red flags, Lee and Democrats rammed it through, perverting law's core creed — "not for power, but to protect the people" — into "a nation lenient to criminals."
