고양소방서는 탁구장에서 발생한 50대 심정지 환자를 신속한 응급처치로 소생시켰다고 13일 밝혔다.

고양소방서에 따르면 지난 2월 28일 오후 3시경 고양시 신원동의 한 탁구장에서 사람이 의식을 잃고 쓰러졌다는 신고가 접수됐다.
신고를 받고 출동한 삼송119안전센터 구급대 소방교 박경훈, 소방사 이난희, 대체인력 김서진은 현장에 도착하자마자 심정지 상태의 환자에게 자동심장충격기(AED)를 활용한 심폐소생술 등 응급처치를 신속하게 실시했다.
구급대의 신속한 대응으로 환자 A씨는 현장에서 의식을 회복했으며 구급대는 이후에도 환자의 상태를 지속적으로 관찰하며 인근 병원으로 안전하게 이송했다.
병원으로 이송된 A씨는 치료를 받은 뒤 지난 3일 퇴원했으며 현재는 통원 치료를 받으며 회복 중인 것으로 알려졌다.
박기완 고양소방서장은 “신속한 신고와 구급대원의 초기 대응이 소중한 생명을 살리는 데 큰 역할을 했다”며 “앞으로도 시민의 생명과 안전을 지키기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
