이재명 대통령이 17일 “세금은 전쟁으로 치면 핵폭탄 같은 것으로 부동산 세금 문제는 최대한 마지막 수단이나 써서라도 해야 한다"고 주장했다. 또 "검찰개혁이 좀 그런 거 같은데 당정이 더 노력해야 한다"고 했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오전 세종시 정부세종청사에서 열린 제10회 국무회의에서 "부동산 문제를 어떻게 할 건가는 금융 부분이 매우 중요하다”며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "대한민국 부동산이 투기·투자 대상이 돼버렸는데 가장 큰 영향을 미친 게 금융”이라며 "남의 돈 빌려 자산 증식 하는 게 유행되다보니 안하는 국민은 손해보는 느낌인데 어떻게든 반드시 잡아야 하며 제일 중요한 게 금융”이라고 했다.
또 “국토교통부도 잘해야 하고 공급 대책 세금 문제도 잘 해야 한다”며 “세금은 최대한 마지막 수단으로 함부로 쓰면 안 되나 그럼에도 불구 최후 수단으로 반드시 해야 하면 (증세 정책을) 써야 되니 준비 잘 해달라”고 주문했다.
이어 검찰개혁 법안 추진 과정 상 여권 내 파열음 관련해 "과정 관리가 좀 그런 거 같다”며 “검찰개혁이란 게 국민 관심도 높고 주요 국정과제였다”고 했다.
