고양특례시 마두도서관이 오는 3월 31일 지역의 역사를 깊이 있게 배우는 프로그램 고양시의 역사와 문화유산을 운영한다.

향토문화 특성화를 추진 중인 마두도서관은 이번 강연을 통해 시민들에게 지역 문화유산의 가치를 알릴 계획이다.
이번 프로그램은 행주산성, 서오릉, 북한산성 등 고양시를 대표하는 주요 문화유산을 중심으로 구성되며 다양한 사진 자료와 함께 흥미로운 역사적 배경을 곁들여 시민들이 지역의 역사적 맥락을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 돕는 것이 특징이다.
강연은 30여 년간 고양시의 역사와 문화재를 연구해 온 정동일 고양시 문화재 전문위원이 맡으며 정 위원은 그동안 직접 수집해 온 귀중한 사진 자료를 바탕으로 고양의 역사와 관련된 다채로운 이야기를 풀어낼 예정이다.
강연 대상은 고양시 역사에 관심 있는 시민 30명이며, 3월 31일 오전 10시 30분부터 90분간 진행되며 참여를 원하는 시민은 3월 18일 오전 10시부터 고양시도서관센터 누리집이나 전화를 통해 선착순으로 신청할 수 있다.
