18일 가평군에 따르면, 군은 지난 16일 마을공동체 주민제안 공모사업에 선정된 공동체 및 경기행복마을관리소 관계자들을 대상으로 심도 있는 ‘역량강화 교육’을 성공적으로 실시했다.
이번 교육은 주민들이 직접 주도하는 마을 활동을 체계적으로 뒷받침하고, 지역 최일선에서 생활 편의를 책임지는 행복마을관리소의 실무 운영 능력을 한 차원 끌어올리기 위해 야심 차게 기획됐다.
현장에는 치열한 공모를 거쳐 선정된 13개 공동체의 대표와 회계 실무자를 비롯해 설악면, 청평면, 상면, 북면 등 4개 거점의 행복마을관리소 담당 공무원과 사무원, 지킴이 등 총 45명이 대거 참석해 뜨거운 학구열을 보였다.
참여자들은 마을공동체 사업 전반에 대한 통합 기초 교육을 시작으로, 까다로운 보조금 집행 및 회계 처리 지침, 행복마을관리소 맞춤형 운영 실무 등을 깊이 있게 다뤘다. 특히 가평군만의 지역적 특성과 다채로운 현장 사례를 접목한 실무 중심의 밀착 교육이 진행돼 참석자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.
가평군은 이번 교육을 신호탄 삼아 올해 총 3회에 걸친 단계별 역량강화 로드맵을 가동한다. 오는 5월에는 실무 역량을 다지는 그룹 교육과 네트워킹 프로그램을, 10월에는 사업계획 고도화와 맞춤형 컨설팅 중심의 심화 교육을 연속적으로 추진할 방침이다.
