가평군은 지난 19일 관내 교육장에서 가평군귀농귀촌종합지원센터와 경기도귀농귀촌지원센터가 귀농귀촌 네트워크 구축을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 성황리에 체결했다고 20일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 귀농귀촌을 희망하는 도시민들의 성공적인 지역 안착을 돕고, 나아가 경기도 내 농어촌 지역의 지속 가능한 상생 발전을 도모하기 위해 전격적으로 마련됐다.
양 기관은 이번 업무협약을 마중물 삼아 △귀농귀촌 네트워크 구축 △지원사업 공동 기획 및 연계 통합 지원 △귀농귀촌 대외 홍보 및 긍정적 인식 제고 △지역 활성화 협력사업 공동 추진 등에 전방위적으로 역량을 결집하기로 뜻을 모았다.
특히, 탁상행정을 벗어나 철저한 현장 중심의 정착 지원 프로그램을 공동으로 기획·운영해 정책의 실효성을 대폭 끌어올릴 방침이다. 이를 위해 은퇴를 앞둔 베이비부머 세대를 겨냥한 '농촌 한 달 살기 체험'을 비롯해, 준비 단계부터 실제 정착까지 원스톱으로 연계하는 '귀농귀촌 이음', 지역 내 선도 농업인과 초보 귀농인을 1:1로 매칭하는 '행복멘토링' 등 다채로운 밀착형 사업을 전개한다.
