국민의힘 중앙당 공천관리위원회는 20일 경북도지사 예비경선 결과 김재원 예비후보를 본경선 진출자로 확정했다고 밝혔다. 이번 결정은 지난 18일부터 19일까지 이틀간 실시된 여론조사 결과를 반영해 이뤄졌다.

앞서 공관위는 총 5명의 예비후보를 대상으로 경쟁력과 본선 가능성을 종합 평가했으며, 그 결과 김 예비후보가 최종 선택됐다.
