포항테크노파크(원장 송경창)는 지멘스헬시니어스㈜와 함께 ‘의료기술 서플라이 데이(SIEMENS Healthineers Medical Technology Supply Day)’를 지난 3월 19일 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 지멘스헬시니어스 포항공장 확장에 따른 소재·부품 공급 수요 증가에 대응하기 위해 마련됐다. 향후 관련 제품의 연간 구매 규모가 약 40% 증가할 것으로 예상됨에 따라, 해외 수입 의존도를 낮추고 지역 기업과 협력해 안정적인 공급망을 구축하는 데 목적이 있다.
행사에는 경북·포항 지역 ICT·SW, 전기전자, 케미칼 분야 기업 관계자를 비롯해 지멘스헬시니어스, 포항시, 포항테크노파크 관계자들이 참석했다. 이 자리에서는 공급 요건 안내와 함께 ▲공급망 협력 ▲기술 연계 ▲공동연구 등 다양한 협력 방안이 논의됐다.
특히 글로벌 수준의 의료기술과 디지털 헬스케어 솔루션이 공유되면서 지역 기업의 기술 이해도 제고와 연구개발 역량 강화는 물론, 공동개발과 부품 공급 등 실질적인 비즈니스 기회 창출로 이어질 것으로 기대된다.
지멘스헬시니어스 포항공장 김근수 전무는 “이번 행사가 지역 기업들의 글로벌 공급망 참여 확대의 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “지속적인 기술 교류와 협력을 통해 공동 성장을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
송경창 포항테크노파크 원장은 “대·중소기업 간 기술협력과 상생을 강화하는 의미 있는 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 협업 기회를 확대해 기술 교류와 공동 성장을 촉진하고, 새로운 비즈니스 창출로 이어질 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Pohang Technopark (President Song Kyung-chang) announced that it held the ‘SIEMENS Healthineers Medical Technology Supply Day’ on March 19 in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers Ltd.
This event was organized to address the increased demand for materials and components following the expansion of the Siemens Healthineers Pohang plant. With the annual purchase volume of related products expected to increase by approximately 40% in the future, the event aims to reduce dependence on overseas imports and establish a stable supply chain in cooperation with local companies.
The event was attended by representatives from companies in the ICT/SW, electrical and electronics, and chemical sectors in the Gyeongbuk and Pohang regions, as well as officials from Siemens Healthineers, Pohang City, and Pohang Technopark.
