조주홍, 영덕군수 예비후보 등록…“경영형 군수로 지역 변화 이끌 것”

조 예비후보는 지난 22일 영덕군선거관리위원회에 예비후보 등록을 마친 직후 “지금 영덕에는 단순한 관리 행정이 아닌 지역의 미래를 설계하고 성과를 만들어내는 경영형 군수가 필요하다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “군민들이 체감할 수 있는 먹고사는 변화를 반드시 이끌어내겠다”고 강조했다.

그는 현재 영덕이 처한 현실에 대해 “풍부한 자연자원과 관광 자원을 보유하고 있음에도 불구하고 청년 인구 유출과 지역경제 침체가 지속되고 있다”고 진단하며 “이제는 행정의 패러다임을 관리 중심에서 투자·성과 중심으로 전환해야 할 시점”이라고 말했다.
