양구군은 단체관광객 유치를 통해 지역 경제에 활력을 불어넣고자 ‘2026년 축제 기간 단체관광객 유치 인센티브 지원사업’을 본격 추진한다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 양구의 자랑인 3대 축제 기간에 외부 관광객을 유치하고 일정 조건을 충족한 여행업체에 버스 임차료를 현금으로 지원해 주는 '통 큰' 혜택이 핵심이다.
지원 조건은 명확하다. 축제장 내 관광안내소에서 단체 사진 촬영 및 확인서 서명을 마쳐야 하며, 축제장에 최소 1시간 이상 체류해야 한다. 또한 관내에서 1인당 2만 원 이상을 소비하고, 유료 관광지 1개소를 방문하는 등 지역 경제에 실질적인 도움을 주는 '착한 관광'을 유도한다.
인센티브는 유치 인원에 따라 차등 지급된다. 버스 1대당 관광객 25~35명을 유치하면 50만 원, 36~45명 이상일 경우 최대 70만 원까지 임차료를 지원받을 수 있다.
