박용선 포항시장 예비후보, 사법 리스크·허위 진술 의혹 전면 반박…“은폐 의도 없었다”

또 다른 후보들이 제기한 도덕성 논란에 대해서도 반박했다. 특히 유흥업소 운영 이력 의혹에 대해 그는 사실이 아니라고 밝히며, 포스코 근무 이후 24년간 개인 회사를 운영해 온 경력 외에는 다른 이력이 없다고 설명했다.

경선 후보로 확정된 배경에 대해서는 당에 대한 오랜 헌신을 강조했다. 박 후보는 2005년 입당 이후 청년위원장과 대변인, 3선 도의원 등을 역임하며 21년간 당 활동을 이어온 점이 긍정적으로 평가된 것으로 보인다고 밝혔다.
