국민의힘 중앙당 공천관리위원회는 지난 19일 오후 포항시장 경선 후보로 문충운·박대기·박용선·안승대 예비후보 등 4명을 확정 발표했다.

이 같은 결과가 나오자 탈락한 예비후보들의 지지 선언이 이어지고 있다. 공천 신청 직후 김순견 예비후보는 박용선 예비후보 지지를 공식화했다. 두 사람은 포철공고 선후배 사이로, 오랜 기간 교류를 이어온 것으로 알려졌다.
