[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 제24회 함양 백운산 벚꽃축제가 오는 4월 4일부터 5일까지 이틀간 백전면 다목적광장 일원에서 개최된다.
백전면 문화체육회가 주최·주관하는 이번 축제는 아름다운 50리 벚꽃길을 배경으로 각종 체험행사, 먹거리와 함께 벚꽃 전국트롯가요제 등 다양한 프로그램을 마련해 상춘객을 맞이할 예정이다.
백전면 50리 벚꽃길은 수동면에서 백전면으로 이어지는 구간으로, 30여 년 전 함양 출신의 고(故) 박병헌 재일거류민단장이 기증한 벚나무가 지금까지 보전 관리되어 함양군 봄 명소로 자리 잡고 있다.
축제기간동안 제3회 백운산 벚꽃 전국트롯가요제가 개최되며, 먹거리와 함께 군민 게이트볼 대회, 면민 파크골프 대회 등 부대행사도 함께 진행된다.
