청와대가 25일 "대통령 주재 비상경제점검회의 산하에 비서실장이 주재하는 비상경제상황실을 설치한다”고 전했다.
홍익표 정무수석은 이날 오전 춘추관 브리핑에서 이같이 전했다. 청와대 비상경제상황실은 비서실장 중심으로 안보·정책실장이 부실장, 정무수석은 총괄 간사, 국정상황실장이 실무 간사 역할을 각각 수행한다.
그러면서 “국무총리를 본부장으로 하는 범정부 비상경제본부와 호흡 맞춰 중동전쟁에 따른 국내외 상황을 보다 엄중 관리해나가겠다”고 했다.
비상경제상황실 아래에 청와대 수석급이 담당하는 거시경제물가대응반·에너지수급반·금융안정반·민생복지반·해외 상황 관리반 등 5개 실무 대응반이 운영되는 가운데 국정상황실은 실무대응반 활동을 종합·점검해 매일 아침 현안점검회의에 보고 예정이다.
홍 수석은 추가경정예산 관련해선 "다음 주 정기 국무회의에서 의결 예정"이라며 "추경은 재정 당국 중심으로 실무 작업이 진행되고 있으며 조만간 확정되는 대로 국무회의에 보고될 건데 아직 확정된 건 아니고 재정 당국 준비 상황에 따라 일정은 유동적"이라고 덧붙였다.
