시는 오는 4월 중 총 5회에 걸쳐 농업기계 안전 사용 현장실무 교육을 시행한다고 밝혔고 이번 교육은 기계 조작에 어려움을 겪는 여성 농업인과 고령 및 취약 농가를 우선적으로 배려해 진행되며 총 100명의 교육생을 모집하며, 각 기수당 20명 내외의 인원이 참여해 집중적인 실습 기회를 갖게 된다.
교육 과정은 농업기계의 구동 원리와 기본 취급 요령 등 이론 교육부터 실제 운전 실습, 점검 및 정비 기술까지 폭넓게 구성됐으며 특히 농번기 사고 예방을 위해 기계 고장 예방 방법과 안전사고 수칙 준수를 중점적으로 지도할 계획이다.
