김 예비후보는 문화·관광 정책과 관련해 ‘체류형 명품 문화클러스터’ 구축을 제안했다. 단순 방문에 그쳤던 기존 관광 모델에서 한 걸음 더 나아가, 사람들이 머무르고 다시 찾는 구조를 만들어 지역 경제와 도시 브랜드를 동시에 키우겠다는 전략이다.
이를 위해 '수성 세계음식문화 어울림 축제' 구상도 내놨다. 국내외 셰프와 방송 콘텐츠를 연계해 음식·공연·체험을 아우르는 복합 축제로 발전시키고, 이를 통해 다양한 문화가 공존하는 도시 이미지를 한층 강화하겠다는 계획이다.
