대구지방식품의약품안전청은 26일 불법유통 및 부당광고 행위에 적극 대응하고, 소상공인의 자율관리 역량을 강화하기 위한 「민·관 온라인 식품안전 협의체(On-Guard)」를 발족한다고 밝혔다.
‘온-가드(On-Guard)’는 민·관이 협업해 온라인상 불법유통과 부당광고를 예방하고, 건전한 거래 질서를 확립하기 위한 대구식약청의 정책 브랜드다.
협의체에는 대구식약청을 비롯해 대구광역시, 경상북도, 대구지방공정거래사무소, 소상공인연합회(대구·경북), 한국프랜차이즈산업협회 대구·경북지회 등이 참여한다.
주요 추진 내용은 ▲온라인 자율관리 역량 강화 ▲자율적 안전관리 계획 수립 ▲정기적인 식품안전 정보 공유 ▲지자체 담당자 및 온라인 판매·유통업체 대상 교육 지원 등이다.
대구식약청은 이번 협의체 운영을 통해 온라인 식품 유통 환경의 자율적 관리 기반을 구축하고, 소비자 피해 예방과 시장 질서 확립에 나선다는 방침이다.
대구지방식품의약품안전청 관계자는 “민·관 협력을 통한 온라인 식품안전 협의체 구축으로 불법유통과 부당광고로 인한 소비자 피해를 예방하고, 업계의 자율관리 역량을 지속적으로 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
