[Break News Dongducheon = Reporter Kim Wan-young] Dongducheon Nursing Home (Director Kim Tae-hyun) in Gyeonggi Province announced that it successfully held the ‘2026 Dongducheon Nursing Home Mid-to-Long-Term Development Workshop’ at Dongducheon Natural Recreation Forest for two days and one night from March 25 to 26.
Attended by 26 staff members from the Dongducheon Nursing Home, the workshop was organized to share the facility’s mission and vision and to explore directions for sustainable development.
The event began with ethics training for employees, followed by a mission and vision declaration ceremony accompanied by the Director’s opening remarks. This was followed by explanations of core values and mid-to-long-term development plans, as well as team discussions and presentations.
In particular, the discussions on the mid-to-long-term development plan, in which staff members participated directly, added significance to the development of effective, field-oriented measures. On the second day, a trekking program along the healing forest trail provided an opportunity for staff to communicate and foster harmony, as well as to recharge.
At the workshop, Dongducheon Mayor Park Hyung-deok stated, “The dedication and efforts of nursing home staff serve as the foundation for community care,” adding, “I hope that the diverse opinions discussed at this workshop will be reflected in actual policies and operations, leading to further development of the Dongducheon Nursing Home.”
Kim Tae-hyun, Director of the Dongducheon Nursing Home, stated, “We will continue to implement various programs to strengthen staff capabilities and revitalize the organization, thereby providing even higher quality care services to our elderly residents.”
