[브레이크뉴스 동두천=김완영 기자] 경기도 동두천요양원(원장 김태현)은 3월 25일부터 26일까지 1박 2일간 동두천자연휴양림에서 ‘2026년 동두천요양원 중장기발전 워크숍’을 성공적으로 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 워크숍은 동두천요양원 종사자 26명이 참석한 가운데, 요양원의 미션과 비전을 공유하고 지속 가능한 발전 방향을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.
행사는 임직원 윤리교육을 시작으로 원장의 인사말과 함께 미션·비전 선포식이 진행됐으며, 이어 핵심 가치와 중장기발전계획에 대한 설명과 팀별 토론과 발표가 이어졌다.
특히 종사자들이 직접 참여한 중장기발전계획 논의는 현장 중심의 실효성 있는 방안을 마련하는 데 의미를 더했다. 둘째 날에는 치유의 숲길 트레킹 프로그램을 통해 직원 간 소통과 화합의 시간을 갖고, 재충전의 기회도 제공했다.
이날 워크숍에서 박형덕 동두천시장은 “요양원 종사자들의 헌신과 노력이 지역사회 돌봄의 기반이 되고 있다”라며 “이번 워크숍을 통해 논의된 다양한 의견이 실제 정책과 운영에 반영돼 더욱 발전하는 동두천요양원이 되기를 기대한다”라고 말했다.
김태현 동두천요양원장은 “앞으로도 종사자 역량 강화와 조직 활성화를 위한 다양한 프로그램을 지속적으로 추진해 입소 어르신들에게 더욱 질 높은 돌봄서비스를 제공하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
