[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시(시장 강수현)가 종합관광안내센터에서 지역의 전통문화를 보존·계승하고 무형유산 활성화를 위한 양주시무형유산 단체 협의회를 지난 27일 개최했다.
이날 협의회에는 양주별산대놀이보존회를 비롯해 양주소놀이굿보존회, 양주상여와회다지소리보존회, 양주농악보존회, 천봉나전칠기보존회, 청련사 예수시왕생칠재보존회, 양주들노래보존회, 최영장군당굿보존회 등 지역을 대표하는 8개 무형유산 보존단체가 참석했다.
회의에서는 2026년 무형유산 활성화 방안을 중심으로 연간 공연 일정 공유와 양주관아지 활성화 사업과의 연계 방안 등이 논의됐다. 특히 시민과 관광객의 접근성을 높이기 위한 단체 간 협력 방안이 집중 논의됐다.
이번 협의회는 각 단체의 운영 현황과 애로사항을 공유하고, 무형유산 전승 기반을 강화하기 위한 실질적 협력 체계를 마련하는 데 의미를 뒀다. 시는 이를 계기로 개별 단체 중심의 활동에서 벗어나, 통합적이고 지속 가능한 전승 구조를 구축한다는 계획이다.
양주시 관계자는 “무형유산의 체계적 보존과 대중화를 위한 첫걸음”이라며 “보존단체와의 지속적인 협력을 통해 지역 문화자산의 가치를 확산해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
