오늘도 기부 물품이 도착했다.
몰타의 윈조우 아시안 마켓 오너는 2년 전 바우처 기부에 이어,
올해에는 다양한 액세서리를 보내오며
5월 바자를 위한 나눔에 다시 한 번 동참했다.
이처럼 이어지는 손길은 단순한 후원이 아니라,
공동체를 향한 깊은 연대의 표현이라 할 수 있다.
우리가 하는 일은 개인의 영달이나 금전적 이익을 추구하기 위함이 아니다.
그렇기에 더 많은 상점들이 자발적으로 마음을 보태고,
그 뜻이 모여 하나의 선한 흐름을 만들어 가고 있다.
바자를 통해 마련된 수익금은 몰타에 거주하는 이들을 위한 스프 키친과,
어려운 환경 속에서도 배움을 이어가는 학생들을 돕는 교육 기관에 전달될 예정이다.
보이지 않는 곳에서 이어지는 이러한 나눔이 누군가에게는 하루를 버틸 힘이 되고,
또 다른 누군가에게는 미래를 꿈꿀 희망이 되기를 바란다.
하나님께서 늘 의로운 이들과 함께하시기를,
그리고 우리의 작은 실천이 결코 헛되지 않기를 조용히 기도한다.
Today, another donation arrived. The owner of a Wenzhou Asian Market in Malta,
who generously contributed vouchers two years ago,
has once again extended a helping hand—
This time, by donating a variety of accessories in support of the upcoming May bazaar.
Such continued acts of giving are more than simple gestures of charity;
They are a reflection of a deep sense of community and shared responsibility.
What we do is not driven by personal gain or financial ambition.
Perhaps that is why so many shops willingly join in,
each contribution adding to a growing current of goodwill.
The proceeds from the bazaar will go toward supporting soup kitchens across Malta
and educational institutions that provide opportunities for underprivileged students.
May these quiet acts of generosity become a source of strength for some,
and a spark of hope for others who dare to dream of a better future.
We pray that God stands with the righteous,
and that our efforts, however small, are never in vain.
