대전광역시는 고물가와 내수 부진의 이중고 속에서 경영난을 겪고 있는 지역 소상공인들을 위해 ‘소상공인 임대료 지원사업’을 올해로 3년째 이어간다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 소상공인의 가장 큰 고정 지출 항목 중 하나인 임대료를 직접 지원함으로써 경영 안정을 돕기 위해 마련된 정책으로, 지원 대상은 공고일 현재 대전시에 사업장을 두고 1년 이상 임차 운영 중인 소상공인이다.
매출 기준은 연간 매출액이 0원을 초과하고 8000만 원 미만인 영세 소상공인을 집중적으로 지원한다. 대전시는 이번 사업을 통해 약 9,400개소의 업체가 혜택을 받을 것으로 내다보고 있으며, 업체당 최대 30만 원을 지급할 계획이다.
신청 접수는 30일부터 온라인을 통해 시작되며, 한정된 예산 범위 내에서 선착순으로 진행된다. 시는 서류 심사를 거쳐 적격 여부가 확인되는 대로 지원금을 신속히 지급해 소상공인들이 체감하는 도움의 속도를 높일 방침이다.
대전시는 지난 2024년부터 전국 최대 규모의 소상공인 임대료 지원 체계를 구축해 왔으며, 지난해까지 누적 1만 9,000개소에 달하는 업체에 실질적인 도움을 준 바 있다.
